Bank Alts

A bank alt is more then just spare bag space; it is instant access to capital vendors and the auction house from any mail box. If you find yourself needing something the local vendors don’t sell, log over to your bank alt, buy it, and mail it to yourself. You just saved yourself a trip to the capital.

The vast majority of common (white) items you find sell for many times more in the AH than to venders. As you are adventuring, just mail your bank alt these items. Once a week, log onto the bank alt and sort through the garbage. Save the stuff you want and auction the stuff you don’t. Save up trashy BOE greens to have a friend DE for you.

One more tip: level your bank alt up to 6th level or higher. Many players have spam filters which block chat from lower level characters. This will be useful if you ever try to sell or buy an item in trade chat.
